Verebral Subluxation and Nerve Chart

The nerve system controls and coordinates all cells, tissues, organs and functions of the body. If this system is not functioning properly we are not living at our optimal level. When our nerve system is in dysfunction, symptoms begin to present and this usually means that we have already been in a state of dis-ease for some time. In the current health care system this is common practice to wait for the symptoms to present and this leads to crisis care. Chiropractic care provides our body’s nerve system to regain proper function which leads to the body healing itself while allowing you to adapt to the ever-changing internal and external environments. At Innate Family Chiropractic we get you out of your crisis and transfer you into wellness care where our bodies naturally want to be.

Our nerve system becomes dysfunctional through stress such as Thoughts, Toxins and Traumas. These are stresses that we are constantly putting on our bodies in our day to day activites. These stresses cause interference to the nerve system known as subluxation. Subluxation is a vertebra (spinal bone) that is not moving properly. This is an incongruency of vertebral movement with the one above and below. Subluxations cause interference in the communication between your brain and your body. This is much like a dimmer swtich in a house. When there is less electricity flowing to the light bulb it emits less light and the room will be darker. This is much the same in your body, but this causes improper functioning of cells, tissues, and organs which can lead to pain, degeneration, and a host of other symptoms. This then causes life be expressed at a less than optimal level. Chiropractors are trained to seek out where these stressors or subluxations lie in the body and remove them with a gentle and specific adjustment.
